RTRX 2021

RTRX is a bold, forward-thinking, individual-centered business experience designed to empower attendees across all aspects of life. Their 3-day leadership conference aims to create a world full of braver, bolder leaders to shape our future—all while raising money for Pelotonia—an organization that accelerates innovative cancer research.

After a year hiatus due to Covid, RTRX needed a bold brand refresh to re-engage with their community and get back to doing good while doing business.

Flexibility and Grit

RTRX wanted a brand that embodied the theme “midwest grit”— the idea of rolling up your sleeves and getting to work—while speaking to corporate audiences like “people officers” and HR departments who are responsible for scheduling events for their teams. Keeping in mind our buttoned up audience while not losing the heart of our mission, a flexible brand system was created that can dial up and down the level of expression depending on the messaging and platform.

 
 

Hand drawn elements and phrases are used to add humanity and expression to contrast with a structured sans-serif typeface.
